I was born in the picturesque city of Santa Barbara, California, where the natural beauty of the coast met the warmth of family storytelling. My father who is an avid reader and my mother's captivating tales brought family history to life. I was immersed in a world of adventure and imagination from an early age. Growing up between the U.S. and Mexico, I found inspiration in the rich cultures and landscapes around me, weaving my experiences into the fabric of my own stories.
My writing blends mystery, nature, and fantasy, with a touch of history that harkens back to my mother and father's influence.
My love for storytelling was nurtured by my mother’s childhood adventures, which I eagerly listened to each night. Drawing from these vivid stories, as well as my own explorations, I became a storyteller in my own right. I continue to write with the same passion that fueled my childhood. I am currently working on my next children’s book, inspired by the magical moments and lessons of my own life and travels.
I never imagined that I’d be writing and publishing my own children’s books, even though it has always been a dream of mine. It’s been a journey filled with countless hours of writing, research, and yes—many mistakes. The road was not easy, with hundreds of edits, moments of frustration, and plenty of self-doubt along the way. But through it all, I learned that every challenge was worth it.
With the unwavering support and encouragement of my husband and two sons, I pushed through the tough days and made my dream a reality. I am proud to say that despite the obstacles, I succeeded in bringing my stories to life.

A Wonderful Story Of Embracing Differences
As a masters of social work student, I found this children’s book to be incredibly touching, yet accessible for children to be able to understand the universal message of loving all for our own unique differences. I think this would be a wonderful addition to any home, school, community, or youth therapist library. The illustrations compliment the story beautifully and creates a wonderful reading experience for both visual and auditory learners.

Very Nice Book For Children
As someone who has worked with children for over 36 years, I can say this book is a really nice addition to any library for an organization that works with young children. I really enjoyed it and plan on reading it to our members next week.

One’s Own Beauty
As an educator, I found this story to be colorful in the way to express one feels about themselves at a young age. I found it difficult to help my students express self-worth and this book paints a picture of how beautiful one can be, despite any differences among others.
